John was a cowboy who was active in the Frontier Village besides working ranches most of his life in the Northwest Territory.

John was well-known for playing ole roundup Western songs on the harmonica, and good with the lariat. John lived the cowboy way daily.
He was from Greene, N.Y., and had a family farm.
He has six children surviving: Edward James Dickson of Johnson City, N.Y., John Jr. of Binghamton, N.Y., Rose Nichols of Nova Scotia, John R. White of Sinclairville, N.Y., Valerie Flora Mohr of Florida, and Kenneth J. White of Cheektowaga, N.Y.; two step-children: Larry White of Leesville, La., and Charlotte Hilliman of Salamanca, N.Y.; 19 grandchildren; sisters and brothers; and many nieces
John's time is done here on Earth now he's our cowboy in heaven. Many blessings and peace.
