An unidentified victim was taken by ambulance following a car-pedestrian accident just after 8 p.m. Friday.
City police and fire responded to the corner of Foote Avenue and Harrison Street for a report of a vehicle-pedestrian accident. Upon arrival, first responders found the victim just outside The Crescent Inn in the roadway in front of a minivan.
According to police, the victim was not in a crosswalk while attempting to cross Harrison Street. After complaining of lower back and left arm pain, the victim was placed on a stretcher and transported by Alstar to WCA Hospital.
