Sinclairville Fire Displaces Family Of Five

January 3, 2014
The Post-Journal

Fire tore through a double-wide trailer at 2748 Edson Road in Sinclairville around 2 p.m. Thursday, displacing a family of five and leaving the home beyond repair. Although the cause of the fire remains under investigation, Dave Lukacz, Sinclairville fire chief, said it is believed the fire started due to electrical heat tape, an electrical wire encased in tape-like covering. Sinclairville, Stockton, Gerry, Ellery, Ellington and Cassadaga fire departments responded to the scene. No one was injured.
