Kenneth Scott Draggett, 52, of Bear Lake Road Fredonia, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday evening, Dec. 30, 2013.
Kenneth was born in Westfield, N.Y., on May 10, 1961, and was the son of the late Kenneth D. and Sadie MacKenzie Draggett.
He grew up and spent his entire life in the local area. He was a graduate of Brocton Central School, and was a forklift Operator by trade working for Cummins of Jamestown, N.Y.
He had always had a great love of sports and especially enjoyed watching his daughters in whatever sporting event they participated in. He was an amazing fan. Kenneth participated in coaching softball and baseball earlier in his life and was a great help with many other sports teams in this area. He was also a huge New York Giants football fan. Kenneth also loved gardening and birdwatching.
He is survived by his beloved daughters: Ashley Draggett and Brook Draggett, both of Stockton, N.Y.; and stepson, Rick Peirce also of Stockton, N.Y.; two sisters: Cindy Draggett of Brocton, N.Y., and Tammy Ebert of Stockton, N.Y.; and a brother, Randy Draggett of Arkwright, N.Y. Several nieces and nephews and greatnieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by an infant brother.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at the Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Ave., Brocton, N.Y. The Rev. Brent Thompson of Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church in Fredonia, N.Y., will officiate. Interment will be in the Portland Evergreen Ceme tery.
