FREWSBURG, N.Y. - Virginia H. Moore, 90, of Frewsburg, died Tuesday (Dec. 31, 2013), at the home of her daughter, Penny (Ken) Rosenberg.
She was born June 16, 1923, in the town of Carroll, the daughter of Richard and Cora Johnson Taylor.
She had been employed as a cook for the Frewsburg Covenant Home, head teller of the Chase Lincoln First Bank in Frewsburg from 1972-84, and the Train Station of Warren, Pa.

She was a member of the Wheeler Hill Church for more than 60 years, where she had been youth director and Sunday school teacher.
She was also a caregiver for many relatives and people in the community.
Virginia is survived by her children: Virginia Inglesby, Luella (Duane) Nordlund, Mina (Dennis) Wilson, Barbara (Gary) Lobb, Linda (James) Bailey, Penny (Ken) Rosenberg, in addition, Earl (Judy) Shongo, and Sandra Shongo; grandchildren: Walter, Arthur, and Eric Inglesby, Dana and Darryl Nordlund, Lisa Johnson, David Lobb, Melissa O'Connor, Marci Wolfe, Nathan and Matthew Bailey, Jessie Andersen, Steven Cline, and Amanda Harness; 33 great-grandchildren; a sister: Kala Basile, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Lloyd Moore on May 18, 2008; a brother, Wayne Taylor; and two sisters: Barbara Slupski and June Peterson.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Wheeler Hill Church, Frewsburg. Pastor Carol Becker of Wheeler Hill Church and the Rev. James Bailey, pastor of Park United Methodist Church, Sinclairville, will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.
