Roger H. Grey, of Seven Hills, Ohio, and formerly of Frewsburg, N.Y., passed away Dec. 19, 2013, at home.
He was born March 6, 1949, in Jamestown, the son of Connie Grey of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Lakewood, and the late Roger P. Grey.
Roger is survived by his wife, Debbie (nee Bernard), whom he married on Sept. 7, 1979; three daughters: Ashley and Allison Grey at home and Dena (Chris) Seminatore of Parma, Ohio. He is also survived by a brother, Rick Grey of Ash-ville; and a sister, Cheryl Grey-Howard of Lakewood.
Roger will be remembered as a devoted husband and father and a wonderful friend to all who knew him.
Roger was a 1968 graduate of Frewsburg Central School, a 1970 graduate of Jamestown Business College and received a Bachelor of Science in business from the Dyke College, Cleveland, Ohio in 1972. Roger had been self-employed as a real estate property inspector in Cleveland. Roger loved all sports and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Cavaliers.
Arrangements are by the Fortuna Funeral Home, Independence, Ohio. There will be a memorial service and celebration of his life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, at the Cuyahoga Valley Church, 5055 E. Wallings Road, Broadview Heights, Ohio 44147. where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the family in care of the Cuyahoga Valley Church.
