FREWSBURG - With two first places and three second place, Falconer captured the 2013 Southern Tier Officials Wrestling Association Tournament ON Saturday night at Frewsburg Central School.
Kyle Ross and Jake Youngberg were the champions for Falconer while Cameron Page, Jake Peru and Jake Penhollow were the runners-up as Falconer recorded 188 points followed by Jamestown with 158.50 points, Olean with 140.50 points, Warren with 132.50 points and Ripley/Chautauqua Lake/Panama/Westfield with 129.50 points.
Maple Grove was sixth with 124.50 points, Hickory, Pa., was next with 109 points followed by Southwestern with 104 points, Pine Valley/Cattaraugus-Little Valley with 83 points and Randolph with 80 points.

Eden had 80.50 points, Dunkirk and Gowanda tied with 66 points, Frewsburg had 51 points and Cassadaga Valley finished with 49 to round out the 15-team field.
Ross won at 160 pounds to remain undefeated by beating Garret Smead of Warren, 4-3, and Youngberg took the 152-pound crown by taking Jed Micek of Maple Grove, 9-5, as Falconer gained the title.
Falconer had three wrestlers reach the finals where they were defeated.
Cameron Paige was pinned by Dakota Lewis of Jamestown at 106 pounds, Jacob Peru lost a heart-breaking 1-0 decision to 126-pound Drew Marra of Olean and Jake Penhollow absorbed a 14-2 loss to Trevor Spicer of Frewsburg at 195 pounds.
Besides Lewis, Jamestown had another champion in 138-pound Dylan Lundmark, who prevailed over Zach Bierfeldt, 5-4. Kyle Liuzzo of Jamestown was second to D.J. Feldman of Warren at 132 pounds by losing, 17-0..
Southwestern and Frewsburg recorded two title wins with Tanner Hoose and Shane Hetrick being victorious for the Trojans and Zach Haller joining teammate Spicer for Frewsburg.

Hoose took the 182-pound crown by defeating Eben Torres by disqualification and Hetrick won the 99-pound title at the expense of Matt Evans of Randolph, 9-2.
Haller was the Frewsburg winner at 230 pounds by posting a major decision over Alex Sreich of Warren, 15-1.
Bradley Bihler of Maple Grove won at 120 pounds by blanking Jon Flynn of Gowanda, 12-0.
Gowanda and Dunkirk each claimed a championship with Lucas McKeever of Gowanda being named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament at 145 pounds. McKeever was a 12-6 victor over Jordan Kayes of Olean.
In an upset, Tito Colon of Dunkirk prevailed over Ryan Hetrick, 3-2, in the championship bout at 113 pounds.
Soloman Gross joined Warren teammate D.J. Feldman as a champion at 285 pounds by defeating Nick Jones of Dunkirk, 3-2.
Alex Kelly of Pine Valley/Cattaraugus-Little Valley was second to Alex Smythe of Eden in the 170-pound title match.
