Myron W. Ireland, 89, formerly of Niagara Falls and Randolph, died at 2:55 a.m. Friday (Dec. 13, 2013) in Absolut Care of Salamanca.
He was born Nov. 24, 1924, in the town of Harmony, the son of Myron and Lydia Rasor Ireland.
Prior to retiring, he had been employed by General Motors Corp., in the Buffalo area.
While a resident of Randolph Manor, he enjoyed playing cards, board games, and shuffleboard. In earlier years, he enjoyed riding his bike.
He is survived by a cousin, Nola Karr of Chesterland, Ohio.
In addition to his father who died in 1965, and his mother who died in 1985, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Galloway Ireland, who died Sept. 18, 1990; and by cousins: Janice Eggleston, Jarvis Ireland and James Ireland.
Services will be at the convenience of the family, and visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Panama Union Cemetery.
