CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
Paul D. Surrena, 46, of Jamestown, was charged Saturday with first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operator, second-degree criminal impersonation, driving while ability impaired, unlicensed operator and unregistered vehicle. At approximately 2:45 a.m., a patrol stopped an unregistered vehicle at Martin Road and Foote Avenue in Jamestown. Surrena was taken into custody for being intoxicated, police said. After taking a chemical blood test, Surrena told police that he provided a false name and date of birth, police said. Surrena was also allegedly found to have a revoked driver's license, stemming from a previous DWI in 2000. Surrena will appear at Jamestown City Court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
A 17-year-old female was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 7:05 p.m., officers dispatched to 200 Gustavus Ave. for a criminal mischief complaint. Upon arrival, officers were told by several personnel of the residence that the female-who is a resident of the facility-tore a phone off the wall and threw it to the ground. The female was transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.
Debra J. Faison, 58, of Dunkirk was charged Monday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. At approximately 8:19 p.m., police took Faison into custody on an outstanding warrant issued by the Dunkirk City Court. The warrant was issued after the task force brought information to the court that Faison had sold cocaine to agents of the task force on numerous occasions in Dunkirk, police said. Faison was transported to Dunkirk City Jail. The arrest culminates a several-months-long investigation. As a result of this investigation, additional information has been obtained, and additional investigations are anticipated.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Christie A. Eddy, 41, of Jamestown, was charged on Nov. 25 for petit larceny and trespassing. At approximately 1:02 p.m., Eddy was involved in a larceny at Wal-Mart after she was advised not to enter any Wal-Mart stores in the country because of previous larcenies, police said. Eddy will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
