The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency Governance Committee met on Wednesday afternoon to brush up on policies.
The committee discussed board evaluations, which will now be performed through a confidential electronic survey.
In other matters, the fact that Fred Croscut's term within the Chautauqua County Legislature ends on Dec. 31 was discussed briefly, furthering question of who will fill his shoes.
The legislature will appoint a Planning and Economic Development Committee chairperson in the coming months, who will then sit on the industrial development agency's board of directors.
Moving forward, Bill Daly, administrative director and CEO of the agency, said procedures for travel reimbursement and discretionary funds within the company have been amended.
"We (within the agency) travel constantly," Daly said. "We took (the policy) and made it quite simple."
"I would suggest we just use the IRS mileage rates," said Mike Metzger, chairman of the agency's board of directors, which Daly said are already in practice.
The industrial development agency will hold its regular, monthly board meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 17, where all other business will be discussed.
All material will be shared with board members.
