The Chautauqua Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Council will host its seventh annual Pasta for Prevention benefit dinner from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at First Covenant Church, 520 Spring St., Jamestown.
Local chef Bill VanStry, along with Tony Bellanca, will cook the homemade sauce and meatballs. Pre-sale tickets are $7 and $8 at the door. Tickets can be purchased from any CASAC board or staff member or by calling CASAC at 664-3608. A drive-through window available for take-out orders will begin at 4:30 p.m.
The dinner is being supported by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Chapter 30714, Support Enterprises of The Resource Center, the CASAC board and Northwest Savings Bank.

Since 1974, CASAC, a nonprofit United Way partner agency, has provided prevention education and community awareness pertaining to alcohol and other drugs. CASAC is the only state Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services approved and supported alcohol and other drug prevention agency in Chautauqua County.
