Students Donate Old Books To Make Difference In Community

The last Saturday in October is deemed "Make a Difference Day." It's a day set aside to help others and "make a difference" in their lives. This year, to honor the day, Mrs. Manno's fourth graders decided to donate books from home that they had outgrown and give them to younger students at Southwestern Elementary School. The students felt that stories should continue to be enjoyed and treasured by those who can appreciate them. Their advice: "Pass along a good book today, and help another along the way!"
