Timothy S. Landy, 49, of 56 Elmwood Ave. W.E., passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013.
A lifelong area resident, he was born June 11, 1964, in Jamestown, N.Y., a son of Fabio B. and Beth Anne "Betsy" Olson Landy.
Tim was a 1983 graduate of Southwestern Central School, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from Dec. 5, 1983 to Dec. 4, 1987. Upon his discharge he served in the U.S. Naval Reserve.

He was currently employed by Jamestown Board of Public Utilities, where he worked for the past five years. In previous years he had worked for Matco Tool Company.
He will be remembered as a loving and caring family man who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will also be remembered for his love of music, where he was an accomplished guitar player.
Surviving are his parents Fabio and Betsy Landy of Lakewood, N.Y.; his wife, the former Joni Triscari, whom he married Aug. 31, 2011; a son, Adam D. Landy of Peoria, Ariz.; three stepchildren: Keith A. McNeal of Annapolis, Md., Suzanne A. McNeal of Ashville, N.Y., and Shawn A. Sprankle of Jamestown; two grandchildren: Ayden Scott Bergman of Ashville, and Piper Isabella McNeal of Maryland; a brother, Douglas "Regina" Landy of Bemus Point, N.Y.; his uncle, Robert A. Olson of Warren, Pa.; his niece, Samantha Landy and his nephew, Joseph Landy, both of Bemus Point. He is also survived by many other loving extended family members as well as his dog, "Rocker."
A private family service was held Wednesday in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Timothy Hoyer, pastor of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church officiated.
