Shirley N. Perry, 90, of 2301 Edinboro Road, Erie, Pa., formerly of Clymer, N.Y., passed away at Forestview, Erie, Pa., on Dec. 1, 2013.
She was born March 22, 1923, in Mannington, W.Va., the daughter of the late John and Ethel Hechert Newell.
Shirley was a member of the McKean United Methodist Church. She was a caring warm person who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as playing golf and bridge, and being a devoted wife, mother and housewife.

She is survived by two children: Barbara (Perry) Bellucci and husband John of Marlboro, N.Y., and Robert N. Perry and wife Kelly of Clymer, N.Y.; five grandchildren: Lance Bellucci, Nick Bellucci and wife Kit, all of Marlboro, N.Y., Robert O. Perry of North East, Pa., Kerrie Ann (Perry) McFarland and husband Joshua of Dunkirk, N.Y., and Katie Perry of Youngstown, Ohio; two great-grandchildren: Ryan and Jacksen McFarland of Dunkirk, N.Y.; and a sister, Joan Hovatter of Lewisburg, W.Va. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Hechert Newell; husband, Robert O. Perry; sister, Marjorie Huff and her husband Ralph; and brother-in-law, Don Hovatter.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. No calling hours will be observed.
