Community Helping Hands will open its annual Christmas shop today. The shop will be open through Saturday, Dec. 21, and includes unique and inexpensive Christmas decorations, including trees already assembled, lights, ornaments, nativity sets, tins, cards and wrapping paper, decorative items and glassware. There are new items added every day. The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays at the Gateway Center, 31 Water St., off Foote Avenue in Jamestown. All proceeds benefit Community Helping Hands, which helps local families and individuals with emergency needs for clothing, furniture, and household items, including helping families who can't afford to decorate their home for Christmas.
