Steven B. Snow, 57, of Kennedy, passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, in his home.
He was born April 18, 1956, in Jamestown, the son of Austin B. and Dawn Johnson Snow Jr.
Steven attended Falconer High School, and was employed with the town of Ellington for 33 years, retiring this year. In earlier years, he was employed with Barnmore Sellstrom.
He had been a lifetime member of the Ellington Fire Department for 35 years and an associate member of the Randolph Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6533, a patron member of Pete's Place in Randolph, with a majority of his time socializing with friends. Steven enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles, and enjoyed being a hang around with the VVLVMC, and he built a custom Harley in 2006. He also enjoyed hunting with his son, Ryan and his grandchildren.
Surviving are his mother Dawn M. Johnson Snow of Falconer; his daughters: Amy L. Reedy (Robert Paulino) of Stockton, and Tennielle Payne of East Randolph; a son, Ryan Snow (Michelle Latone) of Falconer; eight grandchildren: Derrick B. Dickerson, Cody A. Dickerson, Mikhaila R. Dickerson, Alexis K. Ramsey, Mattison K. Cockshott, Landon M. Payne, Ryene M. Snow and Austin R. Snow; a brother: Mark A. (Kelly) Snow of Kennedy; and three sisters: Teresa M. (Tom) Newman of Kennedy, Mary A. (Wally) Haskins of Stockton, Kimberly A. Snow of Stockton.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Amy Jo Snow.
The memorial service will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Falconer Funeral Home where the Rev. Jennifer Delahoy will officiate.
Friends will be received by the family from 69 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday in the funeral home.
