December 2, 2013
The Post-Journal

Jamestown Savings Bank Arena and Jamestown Figure Skating Club will again host a U.S. Figure Skating's SkateFest at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena on Friday, Dec. 13. This free event will provide a 30-minute group lesson to skaters of all ages and abilities. Following the group lesson will be a 15 minute open skate, which will include a group photo and prize giveaways. During the lesson time, celebrity skaters from the Progressive Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular Ice Show will float between groups to offer encouragement to the skaters. There is no prior registration for this event, so, participants will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Only 100 skaters will be allowed per session. Registration begins at 3:45 p.m., and there are two lesson times available (4:30-5:15 p.m.) and (5:15-6 p.m.).
