Marjorie Emerson Foster, 90, passed away Nov. 18, 2013. Marjorie was surrounded by her loving family members.
Marjorie was born in Jamestown, N.Y., on June 28. 1923, the daughter of Clay Fitts and Corinne Frazier Emerson.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Alan; her son. Alan Jr. and wife, Elizabeth of Naples, Fla.; her daughter, Susan F. Johnson of Islamorada,Fla.; four grandchildren: Lana Foster, Brian Foster, Sally Gubala and Kelsey Johnson; and three great-grandchildren.

Marjorie was predeceased by her brother, John F. Emerson.
Marjorie received her associate degree from Stephens College in Columbia. Mo,, she then went on to receive her bachelor's degree from Wheelock College in Boston, Mass.
Marjorie and her family are 51-year residents of Naples following periods of time raising her family in Wakefield, Mass., Toronto, Canada, and Phoenix, Ariz.
Marjorie thoroughly enjoyed music, boating, reading, and especially loved being with friends and family.
Marjorie was a longtime member of the Naples Presbyterian Church, Wheelock College Alumni Club, and had been affiliated with John R. Wood Realty.
Known affectionately by her immediate family as Mimi, she was a loving wife, caring mother and an exceptionally fine lady, who was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all those who came to know her.
