LITTLE VALLEY - A vehicle crashed into a group of horses early Wednesday morning, killing four of them.
At approximately 2:07, David E. Mohr of Cattaraugus was traveling northbound on Route 353 when he allegedly struck the four horses with his vehicle. According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office, the vehicle caught fire afterward and was completely burned.
The road was closed for more than three hours while the scene was investigated and cleaned up.
The investigation is continuing.
