Since our daughter, Kallie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia it has been an emotional roller coaster! Some days we feel on top of the world and like nothing can stop our 2 year old daughter! Other days this all seems like a never ending nightmare!
But through it all, we have never been alone. Little did we know that unimaginable numbers of people would rally to our cause. It's a wonderful feeling living in and amongst communities that "have your back" emotionally and proactively. Remarkably, various and simple facets of Americana; hot dogs, hay rides, Harleys, and much, much more perpetuated the successful and warm-hearted benefit known as "Kallie's Krusade". The army of folks who provided time, effort, money, donations, ideas, etc. will never be forgotten.
Thank you all for your continuous thoughts, prayers, comforting words and support! Every single day Shane and I are astonished by the people that reach out in some way to help ease the pain of our 2 year old daughter being diagnosed with leukemia. Whether it be your time, comforting words, monetary gifts, cards expressing sympathy, hats, or even little tokens that helped you get thru your battle with cancer. Kallie, Shane and I are so lucky and truly blessed!
Please continue to follow Kallie's story and progress on her Facebook page - Kallie's Krusade. Again, thank you all so very much from the bottom of our hearts! We are forever grateful!
