A 19-year-old driving alone on a learner's permit was ticketed after causing an accident Thursday in Jamestown.
Kaylee Canella, 19, of Sinclairville, was traveling southbound on North Main Street when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic during a left turn onto East Third Street.
According to Jamestown Police, Canella's Pontiac Bonneville collided with a Toyota Sienna minivan that was traveling northbound on North Main Street at approximately 3:30 p.m.

The driver of the minivan, a 37-year-old Jamestown woman was reported to have minor injuries. Her husband drove her to WCA Hospital. Canella was uninjured.
Canella was ticketed for being an unlicensed operator along with failure to yield right of way.
The accident caused traffic to bypass the intersection for approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
