Cub Scout Pack 115, based out of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jamestown is conducting a can drive this Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9-11 a.m.
Residents on the southwest side of the city may leave recyclable plastic bottles and aluminum cans in boxes or garbage bags at the curb:
Cans and bottles may also be dropped off in the Hillcrest Baptist Church parking lot during the hours listed.
All deposit refunds will benefit the Scouts of Pack 115. Pack 115 is made up of more than 30 Cub Scouts between grades 1 and 5 attending Lincoln, Fletcher and Persell schools.
Throughout the year, Pack 115 attends several Scout functions including camp outs throughout the year, a Pinewood Derby and a Blue and Gold Dinner. The pack also does community service, participating in a spring food drive, Hands On Jamestown and has marched in the Jamestown and Busti Memorial Day Parades.
