On Thursday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will do trail maintenance in the Dunham Siding area on the Allegheny National Forest.
Participants will meet at the St. John's Lutheran Church parking lot on Pleasant Drive in Warren at 9 a.m. If it rains the event will be canceled. For more information, call Earl Ross at 814-706-1198.
On Sunday, club members will hike the trails at the Pfieffer Nature Preserve in Portville. Participants will meet at Howe's True Value at 1 p.m or at the Penn-Brad Oil Museum on Route 219 in Bradford at 1:45 p.m. To get to the museum: drive east on Route 59, in Marshburg take Route 770 east to Route 219 before turning left and driving north to the museum, which is on the right side of the road. After the hike the group will drive to Sprague's Maple Farms Restaurant in Portville for dinner. For more information, call Pat Shinaberger at 814-598-4590.
