Annual Fun-Fest Draws City Crowd

November 1, 2013
The Post-Journal

The 29th annual Halloween Fun-Fest at the former Allen Park Ice Rink drew a significant crowd Thursday night. The city-sponsored event was held for children 12 and younger. Because of the rain on Halloween night, the Fun-Fest was an indoor alternative to trick-or-treating. Activities for the night included games, an indoor haunted house and costume contests. Free refreshments were provided as well as live music from Emerald City. Mayor Sam Teresi was also in attendance. The Jamestown High School Key Club and National Honor Society helped fill bags with candy for the event. Pictured in the second photo is a clown, who won a new bicycle for their costume.
