Matthew J. Swatt, 23, of Falconer, passed away Saturday (Oct. 26, 2013), in WCA Hospital.
He was born Aug. 21, 1990, in Jamestown, the son of Bradley A. Swatt and Rochelle C. Digirolamo.
Matthew attended Brocton High School and had been employed by Disaster Response and Lloyd Lawn Care.

He enjoyed working on computers, remote control cars, listening to music, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his niece, Jocelynn and his dogs: Flo and Hooch.
He is survived by his parents, Bradley Swatt of Celoron, and his mother Rochelle Digirolamo of Westfield; his fiance, Charli Clutter of Brocton; a brother, Aaron Ryan; two sisters: Kayla Ryan Abbey and Autumn Swatt; a step- brother, Mike (Sara) Wickham; a stepsister, Nina George; his stepmother, Jill Swatt; his maternal grandparents: James and Dawn Harnish Hemmis and Richard and Karen Digirolamo; his paternal grandparents: Susan Barr and John (Debbie) Paulson; his paternal great-grand-mother, Nancy Winer; and his former stepfather, Scott Ryan.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents and paternal great-grandparents.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
