The first concert of Community Music Project Inc.'s subscription series, "A Celebration of Life - A Memorial Concert," will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Christ First United Methodist Church on Lakeview Avenue, Jamestown.
The Chautauqua Chamber Singers, under the direction of Rebecca Ryan, and the Jamestown Choral Society, under the direction of Cindy Lind Hanson, will perform selections such as "Consider" by Roland E. Martin, "Marching to Zion," "How Can I Keep from Singing," arranged by Karen P. Thomas and "Bright Journeys" by Daniel Gawthrop.
"A Celebration of Life" is dedicated to the memory of those who have died in past years, and as a tribute to the many contributions they made during their lives for the enrichment of the community.
