The Honduras Mission Project will again hold the annual Honduras Auction and Chinese Auction on Sunday, Nov. 3, from 6-8:30 p.m. The event will be held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Route 430, Bemus Point. All are welcome.
David Brown from Westfield is the auctioneer. Many businesses and individuals have donated gift certificates, gift baskets and other items for the auction. Viewing begins at 5 p.m.
The auction supports the ongoing program in the small village of la Villa de San Francisco in Honduras. St. Timothy and many other local churches support 34 children and their families year round. A mission team went to Honduras in late May 2013, worked with the children, assessed the needs of the program, provided medical check-ups and taught the mothers new skills. Many mission team members will be at the auction to tell people about this project.

This auction is one of the major fund raisers for the Honduras Mission Project, which has been going on for 19 years. New sponsors are always needed for the children, since we support the year 'round weekly program, plus give protein based foods to the family once a month.
