Officers determined that a vehicle being driven southbound on Jefferson Street failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and made contact with the Jeep. Despite evasive action taken by the operator of the Jeep, the driver lost control and the result was the Jeep on its side.
The operator of the second vehicle was a 16-year-old Jamestown girl, who was determined to be unlicensed. She was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operator and failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign. She was taken to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
Two occupants of the Jeep and one occupant of the second vehicle were treated at the hospital.
