FALCONER - Portville continued its winning ways, racking up a 25-19, 25-16, 25-12 victory over host Falconer (6-2, 6-6) in non-league girls volleyball on Friday.
For the Lady Panthers (14-3), Shaina Griffin drilled 16 kills, Cammie McCracken had four kills and six aces, Taylor Lee added six kills and Haley Unverdorben had 23 assists.
Alyssa Brooks had 11 kills, Isabella Benson six kills and Kalynn Swanson produced 17 assists for the Lady Golden Falcons.
Portville also won the junior varsity match, 2-1.
T-BIRDS STILL PERFECT
MAYVILLE - Chautauqua Lake hosted Clymer on Thursday and the Lady Thunderbirds remained perfect at 9-0 in league and 13-0 overall with a 25-15, 25-8, 25-18 victory.
Jenna Einink produced 13 kills and three digs, Ashton Albanesius added seven kills and seven digs, Tara Hunt came through with four kills, three aces, five digs and 14 assists, Katie Meadows had two kills, four aces, four digs and 13 assists and Kyler Braymiller three kills, three aces and one block for the Lady Thunderbirds.
For the Lady Pirates (4-5,4-8), Marissa Trisket had seven points, an ace, eight digs and three assists, Miranda Marucci added five points, an ace, three digs and two kills, and Samantha Nickerson connected for three points and three digs.
Chautauqua Lake also won the jayvee match, 25-20, 25-18 and 25-13.
BETHEL BAPTIST WINS
Brenda Lai accounted for 18 serves, 33 passes, 35 sets, five digs, four blocks and a spike as Bethel Baptist claimed a hard-fought 21-25, 25-17, 21-25, 25-17, 25-11 victory over Bethel of Erie.
The win clinched a playoff spot in the New-Penn Christian Tournament for Bethel Baptist.
Ariana Inman had 27 serves, 33 passes, 14 spikes and three dinks; Elizabeth Swanson 13 serves, 65 passes, 23 spikes, block, dig and a dink; and Hannah Boardman 12 serves, 35 passes, three sets, 19 spikes, two blocks, seven dinks and four digs for the winners.
Christina Bailey delivered 27 serves, 35 passes, 55 sets, three spikes, 11 blocks, six dinks and 14 digs and Anastasia Rosage eight serves, 40 passes, seven spikes and a block.
