Violet C. Davison, 83, of Ross Mills, passed away Thursday (Oct. 10, 2013), in Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center.
A lifelong area resident, she was born July 25, 1930 in Falconer, the daughter of the late Axel and Florence Becker Olson.
Violet attended Jamestown High School, and prior to retirement, she was employed by Lake County Dairy in Falconer for 17 years. She enjoyed her home and family, especially being with her grand children and greatgrand children.
Surviving is her husband, Ellis S. Davison, whom she married May 5, 1947, in Mayville: a son; Lavern E. Davison of Alaska; daughters: Sandra (Michael) Swanson of Fairfield Glade, Tenn., Christine (James) Carlson of Jamestown, Luann Gilson of Stoneboro, Pa., Laurie (David) Cunningham of Ellington; 10 grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Harold Olson.
The memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Moore will officiate.
Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the service.
