The annual Fenton History Center cemetery tours will take place Saturday from 3-9 p.m. Walking tours from 3-6 p.m. are available at a cost of $10 presale or $12 on Saturday for adults, $2 for children, and $5 for Fenton History Center members. The horse-drawn carriage tours are sold out. The stories of a wide variety of former area residents will be told by costumed actors and trained guides over the course of the hour-long tour. The tours take place at the Lake View Cemetery at the corner of Buffalo Street and Lakeview Avenue.
Refreshments will be available to purchase during the tours. Sponsors are Rhoe B. Henderson Insurance Co., Clark Patterson Lee Design Professionals and Forbici Hair Design.
Guests are asked to wear comfortable shoes, to bring a flashlight if their tour is after dark and to be ready to learn interesting information about Jamestown and Lake View Cemetery.
