ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
ELLICOTT -Amanda Akers, 27, of Falconer, and Kirk Sterling, 28, of Cattaraugus, were charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child on Oct. 1. Akers and Sterling were allegedly in a physical altercation during a child exchange while children were present. Both were issued appearance tickets and will be in Ellicott Court at a later time.

RIPLEY - Timothy Conklin, 60, of Ripley was charged with trespassing and second-degree harassment on Monday at 5:30 p.m. Conklin allegedly punched a neighbor in the face and trespassed on another person's property. He will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.
STOCKTON - Joseph Armeli, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, failure to keep right and unsafe turn on Monday at 12:13 a.m. According to police, Armeli was involved in a single-vehicle crash when his car rolled over on James Road in Stockton. Armeli was allegedly intoxicated. No injuries were sustained by any occupants in his vehicle. Armeli was issued traffic tickets and is to appear in Stockton Court at a later date.
POMFRET - John Peterson, 29, of Brocton, was charged with parking on the highway, driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol limit of .08 percent or higher on Monday at 7:55 p.m. Peterson was stopped on the north shoulder of Route 20 in Pomfret with his four way flashers on, police said. He was allegedly intoxicated, and he was taken into custody. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date to answer his charges.
POMFRET - Pedro Corraliza, 47, of Westfield, was charged with failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, driving across hazard markings, improper/no signal and driving while intoxicated on Friday at 8:16 p.m. Corraliza was allegedly observed making several lane violations driving westbound on Route 20 in Pomfret. When pulled over, he was intoxicated, police said. Corraliza will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date to answer his charges.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
PERRYSBURG - James Mallaber, 23, of Gowanda, was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and multiple traffic violations on Saturday at 9:30 p.m. He was taken to Perrysburg Court for arraignment and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail. He is due back in court at a later date.
