MAYVILLE - E. Aileen Little, 96, formerly of Mayville, died Monday (April 1, 2013) at Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing in Jamestown.
She was born Dec. 6, 1916, in Alliance, Ohio, the daughter of the late Valance and Jennie Ruff Edeburn.
She had been the Office Secretary for the former Mayville Realty Co. in Mayville for 26 years.
Aileen was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Mayville and the Martha Society at St. Mark, she was also a member of Mayville Senior Citizens, Town of Chautauqua Loan Closet, the Lake Chautauqua Memorial Post VFW Auxi-liary in Mayville, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Mayville.
She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Ann (Steve) Paprocki of Zephy-rhills, Fla., Shirley May (James) Burnett of Mayville, and Mary Lou (David) Paulus of Fort Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren: Anne Frost of Mayville, Michael Paulus of Edin-boro, Pa., Martin Paulus of Fort Myers, Fla., James Burnett of Mayville, and Robert Burnett of Spencerport, N.Y.; nine great grandchildren: Ben, Rachel, Brittany, Taylor and Matthew Jerry Paulus, Zachary Paulus, Bridget, Charles and Spencer Burnett; one brother, Charles J. Edeburn of Victorville, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Maxwell Little whom she married July 2, 1948, in Portland, N.Y., and who died Feb. 18, 1993; her father in 1951 and her mother in 1987.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 5, 2013) in St. Mark Lutheran Church in Mayville. Rev. Dr. Carol Evans LeBlanc will officiate.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church in Mayville or to the Mayville Library.
