SOUTH DAYTON - Derek Smith had a huge day for Frewsburg as the Bears improved to 6-0-1 in league and 7-1-1 overall with a 5-2 victory over Pine Valley in Central Division boys soccer action.
Smith earned the hat trick with three goals and Paul Mole and Jacob Annis added solo goals for Frewsburg.
Kody Luce and Nyle Bird each had an assist.
Justin Randall recorded the win in goal and made three saves.
For the Panthers (1-5-0, 1-7-0), Alex Kelly and Dylan Chase were the goal scorers.

CATTARAUGUS - It took two overtime periods before Cattaraugus-Little Valley (3-6-1) finally found the net to pull out a 2-1 victory over West Valley.
Matt Proctor scored the first goal of the game for West Valley (4-4) early in the game, assisted by Austin Wierzba and that held up until 28 minutes into the second half when Gabe Gray scored for the Timberwolves as Nate Reynolds assisted to tie things up.
In the second overtime, Matt Gostomski got the unassisted game-winning goal after a scramble in front of the net at 3:36.
Dylan Rhinehart was the winning goalkeeper with five saves.
For West Valley, Jon Zimmer had six saves.
