MAYVILLE - Courtney Hewes tallied four goals and keeper Rachael Fortney was perfect in net as the Chautauqua Lake Lady Thunderbirds downed Dunkirk, 5-0, in a West Division girls soccer game Tuesday.
Jade Walsh added the final goal on a second-half penalty kick. Registering assists were Kourtney Shearer, Emiley Corwin and Courtney Zentz.
Fortney made seven saves for the Lady Thunderbirds (2-6-1), who led 3-0 at halftime.

WESTFIELD - Southwestern traveled to take on Westfield/Brocton (0-5-1) and both teams were locked up in a tense struggle, but the Lady Trojans (2-5-1) finally broke through for a hard-fought 1-0 win.
Neither team could find the net through the first half, but Southwestern's Nicole Cooper came through with the lone goal of the game eight minutes into the second half, assisted by Ashley Carnes.
Britta Johnson made six saves in earning the win in goal for the Lady Trojans.
Taylor Kassman had 15 saves for Westfield/Brocton.
FALCONER - After spotting Fredonia one goal, Falconer (6-0-1, 7-0-1) bounced back with two of their own, resulting in a 2-1 victory.
The Lady Hillbillies got on the scoreboard first at 10:32 in the first half as Morgan Genovese found the net, unassisted, for the 1-0 lead, but at 21:50, Sydney Moore evened things up for Falconer with an unassisted goal.
Things stayed the same well into the second half and Kelly Keefe came through with the game-winner with 9:12 left for the Lady Golden Falcons.
Macey Mays collected 10 saves for Falconer.
Alexandria Zeutz was in goal for the Lady Hillbillies and had seven saves.
