FINDLEY LAKE - Recovered property after a series of spring vehicle larcenies and burglaries has yet to be claimed by its rightful owner.
Following investigations into six vehicle larcenies in the French Creek and Clymer area during April, New York State Police at Jamestown are seeking the rightful owner of a number of electronic devices.
According to Commander Sergeant Gary Segrue, police received a report of suspicious people from ownership at Clymer's Peek'n Peak Resort and Spa in the midst of the burglaries, which took place over a two-day period. After a brief investigation, Segrue said two males were taken into custody and a number of property items were located and recovered.
"It was mostly electronic devices, such as mp3 players, cameras, iPads and also an autographed baseball," Segrue said.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding ownership of these items to call Gary Segrue at 665-3113.
