SYRACUSE - Jamestown Community College (1-12, 3-2-2) earned a 2-2 double overtime tie with undefeated Onondaga CC (2-0-1, 2-0-1) in an NJCAA Region 3, Division III soccer game on Saturday.
Erik Olson opened the scoring for JCC with an assist from Brett Johnson for the former's second goal of the season at 2:40.
Gage Bird of JCC made it 2-0 with an unassisted goal from four yards away for his third goal of the season.
Reid Rose put Onondaga CC on the scoreboard with a 25-yard shot at 27 minutes to end the first-half scoring.
The only goal in the second half was by Romero Kpolo on a corner kick at 18 minutes.
JCC came close in the first overtime as Nolan Farr hit the crossbar.
Tyler Dykstra made six saves for JCC and Armis Husic had the same number for Onondaga in a game that was very well- played by both teams.
JCC hosts Division 1 Monroe CC on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Bridget Field scored on a free kick at eight minutes and the hosts tallied four goals within a nine-minute span to make it 5-0 at halftime.
After playing a poor first half, the Jayhawks blanked Onondaga the second half and scored once. Kirsten Green recorded her second goal from Sam Mann at 18 minutes.
Haley Sigular played the first half in the JCC goal and made seven saves. Kaitlin Nye played goal in the second half and had one save.
The Jayhawks don't play again until 1 p.m. Saturday at Cayuga CC in Auburn.
