KANE, Pa. - Tom Short topped Flight A, shooting a plus 8 using the Stableford scoring system as the McDonald's Senior Golf Tour visited Kane Country Club on Monday.
Short also had the low gross with 73 while Dock Woodfield placed second with plus 5 and Roger Millspaw shot plus 3 for third.
Ken Aldrich won Flight B with plus 8, followed by Pat Hepinger and Jerry Adams with plus 7s and Aldrich earned low gross honors with 79.
In Flight C, Ray Head took first with plus 8, Don Maxson and Richard Inman were next with plus 7s and Head and Inman tied for low gross with 84s.
Tom Fairbanks paced Flight D with plus 11, Gary Simon placed second with plus 9 and Dave Vanstrom was third with plus 8. Tom Fairbanks fired an 86 for low gross.
In Flight E, Jim Polvino led the way with plus 10, Don Garfield was second with plus 7 and Ed Rumiano took third with plus 6. Don Armstrong was the low gross leader with 93.
Closest-to-the-pin winners were Chuck Jackson on No. 5, Short on No. 7 and Carl Malta on No. 14 and No. 17.
The McDonald's Tour moves on to Elkdale Country Club on Monday, teeing off at 9 a.m.
