She placed first in the Intermediate Division of Extemporaneous Improvisation, in which the skaters create a program to music that they are given just prior to the competition. She also took first in Intermediate Light Entertainment, where she performed as the scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz to a program she choreographed herself. Johnson qualified to skate in the Parade of Champions on the final evening of the competition. She is a member of the Jamestown Skating Club and is coached by Brigitta Francoeur of Erie.
