Aqua Zumba, Tai Chi, High Intensity Circuit and Total Body Spin are among the new classes included in the Jamestown YMCA's fall group exercise schedule.
Aqua Zumba is being offered on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. This pool workout blends cardio conditioning, body toning, and most of all, it's exhilarating beyond belief.
Tai Chi will be offered on Mondays at noon beginning Sept. 9 and Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. beginning Sept. 18. It is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.
High Intensity Circuit will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:45 a.m. beginning Sept. 9. This will be a high intensity class that includes both endurance and strength stations.
Total Body Spin will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 9 a.m. beginning Sept. 9. This group cycling class will incorporate light handheld weights for total body fitness.
Returning favorites like 20-20-20 and Bootcamp are also slated to resume this fall. All classes are free to YMCA members. Non-members can pay per class or purchase an eight-week aerobic package.
