The Jamestown Area YMCA's 26th annual Battle of the Businesses begins today with a one-pitch softball tournament. The tournament was canceled last year due to inclement weather.
The large division event will take place at the Jones and Gifford Park starting at 8:30 a.m. while the small division teams will bat at Bergman Park beginning at 9 a.m. Teams are reminded to check with their team captain for their exact bracket time.
This year's large division teams are Cassadaga Job Corps Academy, Chautauqua County Government, Cummins, Falconer Central School, GA Family Services at Lutheran, Hope's Windows, Jamestown BPU, Jamestown Teachers Association, SKF Aeroengine, Southwestern Central School District, TitanX Engine Cooling, Truck-Lite Co., LLC and WCA Hospital.

The event, sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York and Windstream Communications, continues this week through Saturday, Sept. 14.
All team participants are reminded to wear their Battle shirts during all events.
