Kate Johnson of Southwestern scored in the first half and Maddie Whippo of Frewsburg tallied in the second half in a 2-2 deadlock between Southwestern and Frewsburg in a non-league girls soccer opener on Monday afternoon.
Johnson recorded her first goal at 23rd minute of the first half from Megan Wuebbolt and got another at 35 minutes from Kristy Baggiano as Southwestern grabbed a 2-0 lead.
Whippo scored at 24 minutes of the second half and with 11 minutes left as Frewsburg gained a 2-2 deadlock.

JHS SHUT OUT
Maddie Pinciaro made 12 saves in Jamestown High School's 5-0 setback against visiting Orchard Park in Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 1 action.
A total of eight saves were made by the goal keeper from Orchard Park in the season openers for both teams.
Orchard Park scored three times in the first half and added two in the second half.
Jamestown meets Ellicottville at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the first round of the Olean Tournament.
RED RAIDERS FALL AT OP
ORCHARD PARK - Jamestown High School gave it a good try, but came up a little short in an Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 1 soccer game.
The only goal was a shot by Orchard Park's Noah Kohl that found the mark with 13:45 left in the first half. The attempt from about 23 yards hit the crossbar as it was going in.
The Red Raiders had a couple of chances to score, but Orchard Park goalie Dwight Eagan, who made three saves, and a strong defensive effort kept the visitors at bay.
Liam Kulakowski made seven saves for Jamestown.
CARDS EDGE DRAGONS
RANDOLPH - Randolph picked up its first victory of the season as the Cardinals (1-0-1) shut out Maple Grove, 2-0.
Matthew Born scored Randolph's first goal with 25 minutes gone in the first half, assisted by Skylar Schapp.
At the 60-minute mark, Alex Shipherd picked up the team's second goal with the assist going to Born.
Nick Carpenter earned the shutout victory in goal with three saves.
Maple Grove's Kyle Richardson made seven saves in the losing effort.
