SINCLAIRVILLE - Danold E. Beckman, 66, of Sinclairville, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing, Gerry.
Born March 25, 1947, in Olean, son of the late Robert and Helen Rounds Beckman.
He was a 1967 graduate of Allegany Central School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam Conflict.

He was employed for 25 years by the Chautauqua County Highway Department until his retirement due to health in 2004 and had previously been employed at Crescent Tool and the railroad.
Dan was a member and past board member of the Falconer American Legion Post 638, Falconer Moose and social member of the Ellery VFW.
He enjoyed collecting model trains, camping, hunting, bird watching and loved animals especially his dog "Bear."
Husband of 44 years to Marlene McMaster Beckman, whom he married Feb. 7, 1968; father of Maria (Eric) Spinler of Cassadaga, Stephanie (J.R.) Nocero of Jamestown, Danielle (Brad Chase) Beckman of Lander, Pa., and the late William Beckman; grandfather of Sarah Nocero; brother of Carol Anne Trimble and the late Donald (his twin) and Ronald Beckman. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Monday. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclairville.
