BUSTI The point races have concluded and the champions crowned leaving the final night of racing at Stateline Speedway all about bragging rights, fun and the money.
Cargo Auto Parts will sponsor the events which will be headlined by a $3,000-to-win Super Late Model race and A visit by the Pennsylvania Vintage Dirt Modifieds.
Ashville Dick Barton won his 10th Super Late Stateline title last weekend while still chasing Bobby Schnars for the all-time win title. Barton has 78 career wins and Schnars 79.
The 2011 and 2012 Super Late champ, Warren's Dutch Davies, has to be the favorite. Davies has three wins in a row after struggling early in the season finishing seventh in the standings and tying Barton with three wins.
David Scott is certainly among the top contenders. Scott has started eight times this season with two wins and finishing fourth in the standings.
Robbie Blair is also scheduled to run the event. Blair has visited the speedway just twice this season, but has a first- and a second-place finish for his efforts.
The PA Vintage Modifieds will make their first appearance at Stateline featuring Dirt Modifieds and Sportsman from the 1960s thru the 1990s. The race cars will be displayed and raced.
Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and the green flag will drop at 7 p.m.
