Jamestown police say the death of a man discovered Wednesday morning inside a First Street building is not suspicious in nature.
Firefighters and Alstar Ambulance were summoned at 7:12 a.m. for an unresponsive male on the second floor of the Jamestown Union Gospel Mission. Police were later notified of an unattended death.
Police finished their investigation and turned over the body to Chautauqua County Coroner John Sixbey.

"We did respond to a suspicious death, and following our investigation we determined the cause was not from a homicide," Jamestown police Capt. Robert Samuelson said.
The man's identity has not been released.
Samuelson said police have finished their investigation; no criminal activity was discovered.
"We've pretty much wrapped up everything at this point," Samuelson said.
