Keefe Speaks To Lakewood Chautauqua South Rotary

Gail Donus, right, presented Stephen Keefe, left, who spoke at a recent Lakewood Chautauqua South Rotary meeting. Keefe, Fredonia mayor and Rotary member, spoke on the Rotary Foundation, representing the southern half of District 7090, the district wide foundation committee and its involvement in local clubs and various grants available to them. Keefe also taught at the county prison and was the former principal at Brocton Central School. From 1986 to 1987 he was a Westfield Rotary Ambassador Scholar and he discussed the foundation's early involvement on international projects including the irradiation of polio and providing water to needy people around the world. A question and answer session followed.
