Julius Cusimano, 85, of 163 Hunt Road, W.E. died in his home Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013.
He was born Dec. 22, 1927, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late Paul and Anna Cusimano.
Before his retirement, he was employed at Jamestown Malleable Iron for 42 years and also at Blackstone. He was a faithful member of Holy Apostles Parish, S.S Peter & Paul Catholic Church, and belonged to the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, The American Legion, and The Boys Club Alumni.
Julius will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family and had a kind and generous heart. He had many friends he enjoyed meeting for coffee and sharing a few laughs with.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, the former Mary Lisciandro, whom he married April 29, 1950, a daughter Julie Vogle, son-in-law Michael Vogle, grandsons Joshua and Zachary Vogle, brother Richard (Joan) Cusimano of Long Beach, N.Y., and sister Rose Marie (Tom) Locco of Rochester, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Cusimano, who died May 13, 2006, his parents, sisters Jenny and Jessie, and brother Anthony.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, at Migliore Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, in S.S. Peter & Paul Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende will be celebrant.
Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
