Ellis Wins Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship

MacKenzie Ellis, the daughter of Janice and Mike Ellis of Bemus Point and granddaughter of Evelyn Crick, received a scholarship from the Herman Kent Unit 777 Ladies Auxiliary. Ms. Ellis will pursue a career in criminal Justice at Jamestown Community College. Also receiving $1,000 scholarships were Mikela Swanson, granddaughter of Margaret Swanson of Jamestown, who will study business management and special education at JCC; Jennifer Merchant, granddaughter of Jan Merchant of Ashville, who will study business at Elmira College; and Ashlee Ryen, granddaughter of Donna Darling of Jamestown, who will attend JCC and major in the education field.
