LEON - Lloyd E. France, 75, a laborer for Austin Milling, where he worked for years, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at his home on Leon New Albion Road in Leon, N.Y.
He was born May 29, 1938, the son of the late Lyle France.
Lloyd also worked for US Plywood of Cattaraugus.
He is survived by one son, Shawn France of Leon, N.Y.; a brother, Tony France and a sister, Betty Lewis, both of Franklinville, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Anna France. Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at 7 p.m. at Hills Funeral Chapel, 478 Balcom Corners, South Dayton, N.Y. The Rev. Matt Wittenbrook, pastor of the South Dayton Free Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Treat Memorial Cemetery in Conewango Valley.
Visitation will be held at the funeral chapel on Monday from 5-7 p.m
