Beverly J. James, 69, of 309 Forest Ave., died Wednesday, Aug, 21, 2013, in WCA Hospital.
She was born Dec. 26, 1943, in Titusville, Pa., a daughter of the late Earl and Ida Hunt Johnson, and was a graduate of Jamestown High School.
Beverly loved bingo and was a great fan of Elvis Presley.
She is survived by three sons: Theodore K. Lord Jr. (Melissa) of Chambersburg, Pa., David W. Lord of Erie, Pa., and Scott A. James (Cam) of Jamestown; four grandchildren: Ashley, Brittany, Joshua and Tessa Lord; a great-grandson, Austen Wolfgang; a broth-er, Raymond Johnson of Jamestown; her good friend and companion, Sammy Macaluso; and her ex-daughter-in-law, Juanita Lord, with whom she en-joyed a continuing friendship.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Theodore K. Lord Sr.; her second husband, Roger B. James; two brothers, Russell and Wayne; and three sisters: Hazel, Violet and June.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Landin will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
